As the sand and aggregate supply base for the G7611 Xichang-Xianggelila Expressway, this full-process EPC production line with a capacity of 500 tons per hour was delivered as an integrated turnkey project by Chongqing Sanming Heavy Industry. Customized complete processes are developed for two raw materials: limestone ore and expressway tunnel muck. Adopting an intensive modular layout, the plant effectively reduces land occupation and enables low-energy, eco-friendly and continuous stable production. The whole line produces high-standard premium aggregates, delivering a stable raw material supply for bridges, super-long tunnels and subgrade main works along the entire expressway project.

The complete production line adopts the industry benchmark three-stage short-process energy-saving crushing technology. All equipment across the whole line operates in coordinated matching, cutting power consumption per unit capacity from the source. It addresses the pain points of mountain projects, including limited site space and complex raw material working conditions.
1.Primary Crushing Unit: PEW Deep Chamber Jaw Crusher Equipped with a deep crushing chamber enabling dead-zone-free operation, it accepts large-sized tunnel muck and raw limestone thanks to its wide feed opening. Featuring a large reduction ratio and low risk of material blockage, its heavy-duty wear-resistant structure accommodates long-term high-intensity continuous production.
2.Pre-mounted Desliming Pre-screening Module: YKR Circular Vibrating Screen It removes muddy impurities in advance to improve the cleanliness of finished aggregates at the front end and significantly reduce the load on the downstream washing system.
3.Intermediate Silo Installed Between Jaw Crusher and Impact Crusher It balances fluctuations in incoming material, avoids no-load energy loss of equipment, and ensures sustained stable production capacity of the whole line.
4.Secondary Crushing & Shaping Unit: VF New-type Impact Crusher Adopting VF new-type impact crusher for secondary crushing, it features three-chamber four-stage layered crushing, which drastically reduces flaky and elongated particles. The machine performs crushing and aggregate shaping simultaneously, fully complying with material specifications for high-grade concrete used in expressway projects.
5.Fine Crushing & Sand Making Unit: VCX Ultra-fine Sand Maker Equipped with VCX ultra-fine sand maker, it addresses the bottleneck in producing high-quality manufactured sand of 3–10 mm. The equipment cuts energy consumption and delivers finished sand with rounded particle shape and continuous, stable gradation.
6.Grading Screening: DYS & YKR Series Vibrating Screens Fitted with DYS and YKR series vibrating screens featuring high-excitation screening structure, the system delivers high grading accuracy. It can produce multiple specifications of standardized finished aggregates simultaneously to satisfy differentiated material requirements for bridges and tunnels.
The production line is equipped with a fully automatic washing and refining unit to thoroughly remove mud and powder on aggregate surfaces and guarantee qualified cleanliness of finished products. Meanwhile, an integrated closed-loop wastewater treatment system consisting of sedimentation tanks and filter presses is constructed. The sand washing water is recycled for reuse, while sludge is dried for resource utilization of solid waste, fulfilling the requirements for green mines and ecological infrastructure construction in plateau regions.
Installation of core equipment for crushing, screening, feeding and conveying at the project has been largely completed. Construction of the intelligent central control system and fully enclosed steel structure workshop is steadily underway. Supporting works for the intelligent central control management system and enclosed steel plant are being carried out in an orderly manner. Upon full commissioning, the project will continuously supply high-standard premium aggregates for key works of the Xichang-Xianggelila Expressway and facilitate the strategic transportation corridor connecting Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. The venue was solemn and reverent. All participants lined up neatly with neat appearances and Party badges pinned on their chests. They presented flowers to Marshal Liu Bocheng and reviewed the Party admission oath with profound reverence. Led by professional commentators, all participants visited the exhibition halls of the former residence in sequence.
